Why have we created a brake lever specifically for children?

Because children have smaller hands than adults, it's not always easy for them to reach the brake lever. This is why our engineers and designers have designed a brake lever closer to the handlebars that is easier to hold. The brakes are now in reach of little hands!

Lowered frame

The frame has a low step-through, ideal for children to quickly and easily get on and off the saddle. With its city bike geometry, it allows cyclists to ride with a straight back. It also has a lifetime warranty!

V-brake brake pads: controlled braking

Two V-Brake pads for effective braking.These brakes are composed of callipers that exert more or less pressure on the rim to slow or stop the rotation of the wheels.

Changing gears

This bike is equipped with a grip shifter to change between the 6 speeds:

Steer comfortably

Your bike is equipped with an ergonomic frame for cycling with a straight back! The handlebars and stem are welded in a single piece to make adjustment easier (height only).

A reinforced, ergonomic saddle

A saddle carefully designed to adapt to the morphology of children. It is equipped with a plastic cover at the back (a bumper) to protect from any impacts.

With protective guards

To prevent children from becoming dirty, this bike is equipped with a guard that protects the chain and chainwheel.

Additional fittings

The front and rear mudguards protect against splashes when cycling in town. Also equipped with a basket, you can transport your small items and when taking a break, the stand allows the bike to be easily stored. The bike is fully equipped for riding on public roads: battery-powered lights, bell, reflectors on the wheels.

Wheel/tyre information

City tyres designed to overcome small obstacles: pavements, gutters, potholes or tram rails, nothing will make you lose your balance! 24-inch 1.7 to 2.2 cross-section inner tube with Schrader valve.

We've designed this low-set city bike for children aged 9 to 12 (135 to 150 cm) who want to ride in towns and city parks. This 24" city bike is equipped with mudguards, basket and kickstand. The 6 gears allow you to criss-cross the city with ease, whatever the gradient.

After your minimum term

Once your initial term is complete, your plan becomes flexible. You'll continue month-to-month at the same great rate and can return your products at any time.

A key point on Pricing

Your monthly rate is based on the minimum term you choose at the start and does not change later. In case of early return, the whole commitment fee is due.

2 Rent & collect in store Ready for an adventure? Select your product, pay and pick it up in store. For daily rentals you can pay in advance and pay online before you pick it up in store. If you do it in store all you need is your ID, a credit card and your smartphone with internet access.
3 Practise your sport You're all set! Now, it's time to dive into your sport with total peace of mind, just focus on the thrill of the experience and enjoy every moment.
4 Return your rented products After the commitment period, you can end your subscription rental at any time and return the product to any Decathlon shop.
